NO ONE COMPETE WITH ME–Poonam Pandey

Strip queen Poonam Pandey confirms that she will soon be seen in a leading role in a film that is loosely based on her life. The 20-year-old model reveals that the movie will feature a rookie actor alongside her.

Sources say that Poonam is currently in negotiations with a production house to sign her as a leading lady in a movie and that the model is working out the monetary details. "We are yet to confirm whether I will do two or three films with them," says Poonam, adding, "My role in the film is quite glamorous and the character is very close to what I am in real life."

Will she prove that she is more than just a bombshell? "I promise to get dirtier than Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture," she laughs, adding, "I don't think there is any bikini left in the world that I haven't worn. I can even shop in a bikini and, of course, if the role demands it, I will wear one too. I want to do something no one in the industry has ever done before," says Poonam.

Will Poonam be able to hold her own in an industry flooded with international model-turned-actors such as Angela Jonsson, Amy Jackson and Lisa Haydon? "These are all firangi faces and they are clearly not my competition. I am not making these statements because I am overconfident, but because I know that no one can compete with me," she maintains.

The model reveals that she began taking acting classes early on in her modelling days. "But it is belly-dancing that got me really moving. Though I've received a lot of offers to do item numbers, I am not keen to make it big that way," says Poonam. And even though she doesn't have a wishlist of actors to work with, there is one star she's sold on working with. "I would love to do a film with Ranbir Kapoor," she signs off.

I am still in Oh La la la–TUSSHAR

The son of veteran actor Jeetendra and brother of successful producer Ekta Kapoor, actor Tusshar Kapoor has immense pressure on his shoulders to prove himself. But he says he considers his sister's comments as constructive criticism.

Ekta is known to be a strict producer, and blunt with her words. But it doesn't cause ego hassles between them, says the younger brother.

"Yes of course, (she criticises my performance) if she doesn't like it. Films work when audience likes it. Ekta is also from the same industry, so criticisms are always welcome," Tusshar told IANS.

"I do take her criticisms positively. Ekta and I don't get egoistic about each other's comments. We welcome suggestions constructively," he added.

While Ekta's production house Balaji Telefilms is on a roll with films like "Shor In The City" and "The Dirty Picture" doing quite well, does Tusshar plan to get into production anytime?

"I haven't thought of it. We keep giving tips to each other. Ekta and her team have made some mistakes in the past and we have learnt a lesson from that. I am not getting into production so soon," said the 35-year-old, who also played a part in hit movie "The Dirty Picture".

Tusshar says he is still soaking in the success of the film.

"I am still in the 'OOh la la' phase since I was the part of the film. It feels great and exciting that 'The Dirty Picture' was in news since its making days," he said.

In 2012, Tusshar is all set to do a film tiled "Chaar Din Ki Chandni" with Kulraj Randhawa.

Directed by Samir Karnik, this love story is about a Rajput boy and a Punjabi girl.

"I am playing a Rajput guy from a royal family. He falls in love with a Punjabi girl. He comes back home after studying abroad. He makes up stories to save his life from his father to make his love life a success," Tusshar said of his role.

The release of "Chaar Din Ki Chandni" is clashing with that of his "The Dirty Picture" co-star Vidya Balan's " Kahaani" March 9. But he is unfazed.

"I am not really nervous. Vidya Balan's 'Kahaani' is a more serious film so the audiences are going to get divided. And Of course I will watch Vidya's 'Kahaani'," Tusshar said. But he says he considers his sister's comments as constructive criticism.

AFTER BIGG BOSS 5 SUNNY LEONE IN JISM 2

Bollywood producer Pooja Bhatt believes that casting plays an important role in moviemaking, and an actor's personality must match with the character one plays.

That is precisely the reason why she chose Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone for the lead part in " Jism 2".

"We have done authentic casting in 'Jism 2'. We have taken Sunny Leone because we want a girl who plays that kind of part and persona," said Pooja on the sidelines of an event.

"It is very important that you cast authentically. Everyone talks about out-of-the-box casting but no one does it," added the the 39-year-old.

Pooja, who has made films like "Zakhm", "Jism" and "Paap", asserts that she likes to associate with people who are genuine.

"People talk about 'Zakhm' and then go and watch 'Jism'. The point is that we have decided to attach ourselves with only those who are audacious, be it Sunny Leone or anyone else; people who walk their talk and dare to stick their necks out," she said.

The actress-turned-filmmaker, daughter of Mahesh Bhatt, is currently busy with pre-production work of "Jism 2", which will go on floors soon.

Two male actors are yet to be finalised for the film.
